Large parfleche knife sheath with antique skinner knife. We don't really know a whole lot about this item, other than it's more than likely Native American made and possibly Lakota. It's likely painted bison rawhide. It's tied together with braintan lacing.
The sheaf is 9.5" x 3" and the knife's total length is 12.5" with a 7.5" blade.
* Parflache is a painted raw hide.
