While travelling through New Mexico we stopped in Chimayo to visit the original Ortega's weaving shop. We collect and sell a lot of vintage pieces by this company and were surprised that it still exists and is currently run by the 9'th generation of Ortega's weavers. It's so impressive to see that the quality of their merchandise hasn't wavered over the years.
Here is a Ortega's Chimayo wool pouch with a satin lining and a leather button closure that we purchased directly in the shop. It's great for putting your essentials including phone, glasses, documents etc.
