This hat was made special for Luskey's Western Store, Fort Worth, Texas more than likely in the 1960's. This hat is a 100% fur and made by the Stetson Hat Co. with the Luskey's logo. It bares no Stetson stamp, but I know for a fact that it was made by the Stetson Co. for it carries the "Boss of the Plains" name.
It fits like a 6 7/8 - 7. The brim measures 4.75 and the crown is 6.75.
It has an amazing patina with the traditional Tom Mix Crease.
The bound edge and band have a beautiful, well worn look.
