This jacket is more than likely Cree or possibly Nez Perce. I'm guessing it dates from the 40's-50's. It's brain tanned smoked moose. The embroidery work is exquisite with amazing colors.
Fringe varies in width on the front panel, seems to be original though. Lining is linen.
Museum quality, but in excellent condition and totally wearable.
I wear a large or 42 and it fits me perfectly.
