This jacket had no label, but was more than likely made in the mid 50's - mid 60's. It was simple and missing a belt when I purchased it. I added saddle shearling around the collar and made a new belt. I kept with the integrity of the period on my additions, including aging the new shearling and brass studs.
The zipper works perfectly fine, but the pull separated at some point from the zip part. I wanted to live the original zipper intact, so I basically attached the pull to the zip waxed thread (see the photo).
