This buckle was presented to a calf roper at an RCA Rodeo, more than likely during the late 50's - early 60's. The RCA was the predecessor to today's PRCA. These buckles would be awarder to the winners of each event.
The bottom banner would have been left blank for the winner to add his or her name. This is an amazing piece of Americana with incredible background details.
