This is an early Resistol from the late 30's and completely original. It has an amazing patina and is a 7 1/8. It obviously is missing the leather sweatband and silk liner. Typical of hats this age.
You can wear it as is or your local hatter usually can install these for around $35. I chose to leave it original as is, because this will allow you to tweak the size a bit if you choose to add those items.
This is a great collector's item and totally wearable.
