This jacket was more than likely made during the late 60's in the midst of the hippie movement. It was handmade of deerskin and a lot of attention was given to details, such as fringe and beadwork. It has an amazing patina, but does show signs of age and distress. This piece was definitely worn a lot, giving it tones of character.
Condition: In good wearable shape - there is a spot around the collar that looks like it was repaired at some point, but jacket is not only a beautiful piece of art, but perfectly wearable. It was missing lacing required to synch up and close the jacket, so we added a soft deerskin lace to get the job done. It can be worn both ways, as a top or a jacket.
