This capote was handmade from a vintage Hundson's Bay style blanket made by the Witney Point Co. It's 100% wool and very warm. It's in great shape but does have mild pilling.
Capotes typical don't have belt loops and were worn with an independent belt or sash. Belt in photos not included.
These are very typical of mountain man attire and was more than likely made by rendezvous enthusiast.
Good vintage condition.
